Yes you hear right. I also couldn't believe it but Sports Unlimited and Woodies Ramps make it happen. A proper skate park in Cape Town (Kirstenhof). Finally. Thanks to everybody behind this project. Here some first impressions of what you can expect.

New Civic Center

What many of us recognized is, that with the FIFA World Cup 2010 here in SA was the indicator to refresh the the hosting cities to make them look nice for the rest of the world. There are people pro and against the soccer, but what we have to admit is that we profited from all that in terms of new, fresh spot. So for example the civic center in cape town. Finally are all nice marble curbs skateable after renewing the bricks. Even the security are cool with it. During the world cup we can skate every day til 3 PM. After the world cup we have the whole place for us. We should still take care about it. That means keeping it clean, physically and verbal with any kind of authority person, also when they a d...heads. But thats cool. So lets make the best out of it.

Back again

CT skateboarding is back online and will keep you updated and hopefully entertained for the next time. It should function as a platform which keeps you updated and inspired with photos, articles and videos by the CT skateboarding scene.
